Logo

The thinking behind the logo

A bird, flying the open sky and going anywhere it likes.
A sea, moving freely and never holding one shape.
Together they stand for the migrating bird — unbound by place, free to fly.

Look at it another way.
The two waves that make the sea have the same shape as the bird, so they are us, the migrating birds.
The bird poking up out of them is someone, or something.
Someone or something is born from us.
The logo shows the future we are making.

Vision & Mission

Vision & Mission

Free as a bird

Freedom is the word we hold onto.
For us, freedom means choosing for yourself and acting on it.
We want those choices to come from beyond the frames around us — from acting, learning,
and from what we see and hear out in the wider world.
Picture that, and it looks like a bird flying free in the open sky.

To widen your choices you have to learn what you do not know, and experience it.
An encounter with the unknown should be packed with nerves and excitement.
Let us fly freely and spend our days full of the unknown.
Take on all kinds of things, make all kinds of things, go all kinds of places.
Wataridori Inc. exists to bring encounters with the unknown, and the excitement
that comes with them, to us and to you.
